IT builds a new help desk system for the organization where this pilot fish works, and it's a big improvement.

"Now users could enter help desk tickets from anywhere and have the ticket routed to the right person," says fish.

"Our CIO made the decision that this help desk could be used for anything, PC-related or not. For example, it could be used for building maintenance requests.

"About three days into the new help desk, a ticket is entered requesting building service -- there was a window leaking.

"My CIO was reading all of the calls. To this one he dutifully responded: 'Please enter your version of Windows when opening a ticket.'"

Review - Otterbox Defender Case For Iphone 3g

OTTERBOX DEFENDER CASE FOR IPHONE 3G

No doubt this case will protect your iPhone 3G from alot of things. Moisture, dust, dirt, small rocks and falls are only a few of them. If you are going to go hiking, are in construction or other businesses where you do no want your iPhone damaged this is the case for you.

The case consists of a plastic belt holster, the two piece case, sleeve and a cover for the screen. Putting it all together is a snap. When the phone is in the holster the screen faces inwards, protecting it from knocks and bumps.

The office environment however is not a good place for this case. First, it adds alot of size to the phone, making it hard to stick in your pocket. When in the holster, I just can't find a comfortable place on my waist to hook it onto my belt. Another complaint on the case is that it adds a different tactile feel to the screen; the onscreen keyboard still works fine, it's just that it feels different.

Overall this is a great case for the outdoors, and if you don't have to answer your phone quickly works fine. Once inside the belt holster you really have to tug to get the phone out. It snaps in there pretty tight; granted this protects the phone pretty well but it does take a positive motion to release it.

I give this case great ratings on protection even though it is not waterproof. It will protect your phone from rain especially if it's under your coat. Don't lose the phone in a big puddle though or it might be toast.

the case gets an 8 out of 10. It runs $49.99 at the OTTERBOX site
